Open the Case

Start by purchasing an index number from the county clerk. File the Summons, Verified Complaint, and Preliminary Conference request if required.

Serve and File Affidavits

Serve the defendant within 120 days. File the Affidavit of Defendant or Affidavit of Service along with the settlement agreement.

Submit the Final Judgment Packet

Deliver the Note of Issue, Request for Judicial Intervention when needed, child support forms, and the proposed Judgment of Divorce for signature.
