Finalize the Settlement Agreement

Once you resolve all outstanding issues, draft the agreement and have both spouses sign before a notary.

Notify the Court

Your attorney files a stipulation of settlement and requests that the case be transferred to the uncontested track. Future appearances are usually canceled.

File the Uncontested Packet

Submit all required forms, including updated financial affidavits and the proposed judgment. The judge then reviews it like any uncontested matter.
